Built about 1967-68 as an office building with a design alluding to both Colonial and Victorian revival motifs. An early tenant was Crowell Realty. Originally the site of the large antebellum four-story brick house owned by the Joseph Eve Family. It was torn down in 1920 to make way for the Bowdre Apartments, which were replaced by a used car lot in about 1954 prior to the construction of the present building.
