Built between 1857 and 1863 in the Romanesque Revival Style. Octagonal bell tower added 1894-1899. Long known as Saint Patrick\’s Church, it was renamed January 1, 1972 after three downtown congregations were consolidated into this, the mother Catholic parish in Augusta.
